W2, THURSDAY

[not long after escha feeds the purple bunny, it squeaks up at her before darting down the hall and leading her further down the hall and toward a door marked as 3C with a purple heart on it. as the door opens for the rabbit, it scampers up the ramp and onto the desk where purple heart seems to be waiting for her.]

Hey Escha. Go ahead and have a seat.

[applechemist]

[ Escha comes and takes a seat! ]

Sorry for not visiting any earlier. I kept meaning to, but it feels like there's always something happening outside.

[gatonina]

[the bunny's on the desk and hops to the edge to peer at escha curiously, which means purple heart's petting its ears with gloved hands.]

No I understand. It's been...well. Chaotic is a good word for it, I think. Are you managing alright?

[applechemist]

[ She gives the bunny a little smile, and leans forward to boop her nose against it. ]

... I think so. I mean, as much as anyone can say that, in this situation...

[gatonina]

[the bunny accepts this.]

Yeah...given everything it's a little harder to say, isn't it? [which. sucks.] But I'm glad to hear that.

Not that I'm not happy to see you and don't mind your company, what brought you here today? A social call? [do they need to prepare snacks.]

W3, TUESDAY

[gatonina]

[black shadows is on office duty this week, so they just escort escha back to their office themselves. the large gray bunny follows, flopping in what looks like either a big cat bed or a small dog bed.]

Escha. Can I help with anything?

[applechemist]

[ She sets down one of these on the desk for Black Shadows! ]

I wanted to give you this. And also to get to know you better.

I'm on your team, after all.

[gatonina]

Oh- it's cute...

[they observe it appreciatively! but they. they leave it on their desk.]

Do not eat in front of others, but appreciate it, Escha. Have not had much opportunity to talk yet.

[applechemist]

Oh - that's okay. You can eat it later, then.

[ Nooo problem. ]

That's my fault. Everything feels like it's been really hectic, but... I should have made time, sooner.

[gatonina]

No need to fault yourself. As you said- much has happened. Am pleased to speak with you now.

[they nod, firmly. nooo feeling bad about it.]

Have several here you know, yes?

W3, TUESDAY

[not long after escha feeds the purple bunny, it darts out the door quickly and heads straight for the camp store. as the door swings open for the rabbit and for escha, purple heart turns away from the shelf he's looking at and glances at the empty shop before removing his hat.] Hey. What's up?

[applechemist]

I brought you a treat!

[ She sets down one of these on the counter! ]

It's easier to work when you have something sweet.

[gatonina]

[why is escha literally so good?? he looks at this treat and there's an all-too-fond sort of smile almost immediately.] You're the best, you know that? This looks awesome. Thanks a lot.

[applechemist]

[ How to play off the praise... Ah... ]

Well - If I keep eating all the sweets I make myself, I'll gain way too much weight.

[gatonina]

Then I guess I have no choice but to help you out, huh? [please always feed him.] Keeping busy?

W3, TUESDAY

[gatonina]

[the bunny zips down the hallway and leads escha to the door marked as 3B. it seems to be a standard office with a wooden doll been in one corner. the blue bunny runs towards the bed to take a little snooze, and winter glances up from whatever they're doing at their desk... which seems to be reading a book? huh.]

Oh, Escha! Go ahead and have a seat.

[they gesture at the two chairs in front of their desk. escha can whichever she likes.]

[applechemist]

[ She takes a seat in the left seat, for no particular reason. I even double checked to see if she and Logy usually stand in a certain order but they don't so oh well. ]

Hello. I hope I'm not bothering you.

[gatonina]

[they shake their head.]

Don't be silly. I'm happy to make time for anyone who wants to talk to me.

[applechemist]

[ As with the other two, she sets down one of these for them! ]

I'll try to make more time, in the future.

[gatonina]

You don't have to, but I wouldn't say no to seeing you around more often.

[those look so good, though... wtf. they gasp, delighted.]

Please tell me you had one of those before coming here. If you didn't, I am making you split halfsies with me.

W6, TUESDAY

[crashout]

[not long after escha feeds the purple bunny, she hops along out of the director's office and off toward the cabins, leading escha toward the cabin with a purple heart on the door. as the door opens for her and the bunny, escha will find herself looking into a cabin similar to the camper cabins, albeit nicer. for one thing, instead of the bunkbeds there's a full-sized bed, black covers and purple and blue pillows propped up against the headboard along with a line of pillows on one half of the bed. there's a desk, a dresser, a closet, and another door on the back wall that's currently closed, a TV on a stand, shelves filled with random assorted stuff and a multitude of post-it notes stuck to several spaces on the wall. the curtains are also closed the room's only lit by a small lamp in the corner.

she'll find junpei on the floor with a feathery cat toy on a stick, occasionally teasing a black kitten even as the bunny bounds inside to join them. he looks up then, blinking slightly like he's surprised.]

...hey Escha.

[applechemist]

Hey.

[ She nods and comes to sit across from him so that the cat is between them. She has an apple tart for him, and holds it out over the distance. ]

I'm sorry. I feel like I should have come to see you sooner, after...

[ ... Anyway. ]

[crashout]

[...he'll take the tart at least and nods in thanks, but he doesn't quite eat it yet. the kitten stops rolling around, facing escha upside down to meow at her inquisitively.]

...when I think about it, it's not like I'm the only one who lost somebody important, you know? I don't really blame you.

[applechemist]

Mm...

[ That's fair. Part of why she hadn't come was because she had been a mess. Still, she's self conscious about it, so she looks down at the cat to avoid looking at Junpei and. Boops its nose. ]

Still. It is a little different.

[crashout]

[the kitten meows again and immediately rolls over to sniff escha's hand.]

A little. [he can admit that much.] ...in a way, even though this whole thing really fucking sucks and I never wanted this for any of us, it was sort of nice to have you both here again. Even if you didn't know at first. It just felt sort of familiar.
