[ but uh yeah phoenix takes longer to potato head himself together but also waits to see what happens with belph..... he immediately becomes a shipping mess. ]
[ hm. don't like that. when he looks closer at it, is it le blood?
anyway, when belph's face doesn't explode, ash just puts the mask straight on. the sooner he's out of here the sooner he can maybe stop his arm being all sting. ]
Cool. Smells like the same shit that’s coming out from under the door.
[ thanks he doesn’t like it. and now i am going to sneep so someone else please remember to push the other button thank you night night you’re all wonderful 😊 ]
[actually, belph is going to remove his mask if he can, both to see properly as he moves back across the room and also as a reference point in case they weren't supposed to put on the masks.
which is to say, he'll go and hit that bottom switch by the door. THANKYUU, WE'RE STUPID]
Okay, no. It's unlocked now! When they open it, more motor oil spills out — and they will immediately notice why.
The room beyond the door is covered in plastic wrap from top to bottom. The biggest difference, though? It's soaked in motor oil as well. The appearance is unnervingly like blood, even if the smell is a dead giveaway. The single LED light in the ceiling flickers. The low humming sound seems to be a little closer now, but they're not quite there. There is another panel next to the door, but this one only has one switch.
Inside the room, they will find five doors. Two on the right, and two on the left. There are glass windows besides these four doors, and there appears to be a room beyond them — but the lights are off on the other side so they can't quite make anything out from their current position. There is another door across the room, directly adjacent to the door they just walked through. On the corner of the room, there is............. a pile of naked bodies. Uh. Hm.
Just like the previous room, however, they will find a another table covered in plastic wrap in the center of the room. There's another silver platter with a lid on top of it.
Because I'm feeling nice, here is the room layout. P=Pile, D=Door, W=Window, T=Table, S=Switch.

[AKIRA WAS HERE THE WHOLE TIME I PROMISE, piecing himself together, wearing Akechi masks, feeling vaguely. . . uncomfortable. . . about wearing an Akechi mask. anyway he keeps the mask on but keeps it sitting on the top of his head. it's fine]
[he hobbles into the room and kind of]
[closes his eyes and takes a deep breath when he sees that pile]
[but then he reaches out to hit the switch near the door]
[Akira was here the entire time. I don't know what you're talking about.
Akira can try to hit the switch near the door, but it doesn't seem to budge? Upon further inspection, there's an itty bitty bulb on the panel with the word POWER written next to it. However, the bulb is currently off.
Meanwhile, Belph will recognize many of the faces on the body pile. Except, uh. Now that he's close enough, he will realize that they're not corpses at all. Rather, it seems like they're hyper-realistic dolls — to the point where it dips into uncanny valley. It's Barbie and Ken doll anatomy all the way, but... Still bizarre, man. The faces he will recognize belong to those from their previous games; those who are the ones currently sleeping. There are even some duplicates among the batch, but none of them share the faces of the masks they found in the previous room.
If Phoenix lifts the lid on the silver platter, he will find a mini-chalkboard inside. There's something written on it.]
There's a power switch on the wall, but it's currently off and won't budge. I bet we have to turn on the power somehow.
[he is steering clear of that body pile thanks!! while Phoenix and Belph are busy, Akira is going to investigate the door to the room on the lower right since it's the closest to the switch]

once everything's where it should be, he holds up the brilith mask and peers through it without putting it directly on his face just yet. ]
So... we put these on and then what? It eats our faces off?
no subject
he sighs.]
Only one way to find out.
[gently, he puts the mask on.]
no subject
[ but uh yeah phoenix takes longer to potato head himself together but also waits to see what happens with belph..... he immediately becomes a shipping mess. ]
no subject
Anyway...
Belph puts on the mask
and nothing happens!
Whoa.]

or for ash to die, because that's looking like the other option]
no subject
no subject
Putting their masks on, similarly, does absolutely nothing. But, hey. Now they're wearing hyper realistic masks of their friends? Nice.]
no subject
Well don't we all look stylish.
[ just call him ashlith ruin. ]
Should we try and get the door open? Figure out where all that oil's coming from?
no subject
[belph will try to open the door, then.]
no subject
Wonder if we could pop an arm under there to open it from the other side, if it is.
no subject
Well.
Goodnight, Becks! It smells like motor oil.
The door is locked. The metatext will be kind and remind you nobody hit the bottom switch by the door they originally walked through.]

Let's watch our step, then.
[ he just puts the mask in his hoodie for now ]
no subject
After hitting the switch, they will hear a click! Wow. Wonder where that could have come from.]
no subject
Sounds like the door.
[IMAGINE
IF IT STILL ISN'T
anyway i assume someone opens the door as someone else like maybe helps akira through it while belph follows behind]
no subject
Let's give it a try.
[ if the door doesn't open hes doing knock knock jokes again that's a threat ]

Why is this already so freakin' weird.
no subject
[belph will take one for the team and head over to examine the body pile. anyone he might recognize or are they faceless masses.]
no subject
Guess it's another murder puzzle.
[ wow how exciting ]

The bodies aren't real, at least. These look like... dolls? Creepy.
[just to make sure, he'll rummage through the bodies and check that there's nothing hidden among them. or on them. or whatever.]
