[Well. There is no right button because they are one on top of the other, but let's say he hit the upper one. Once Ash tappity taps the button, he will feel something prick his finger. A second later, his entire arm will begin to sting. But, uh. That's probably fine?

The wall transforms into something solid. Something a little... plasticky? And the reason why becomes quickly apparent. The LED light smackdab in the center of the room flickers to life. As the boys take a proper look at their surroundings, they will notice that they have wandered into a room that's covered in plastic wrap from top to bottom. A single, plastic covered table sits in the center of the room. There is a silver platter with a lid on top.

There's another door right across the room, where the plastic wrap has been carefully arranged as to not to block it. There is something red sluggishly coming out through the bottom of it. The low humming sound persists, though they cannot find the source here. And, yup. It sure did just get colder.

But, that's not all.

As soon as the lights flicker on, the gang will have to grapple with an even bigger issue. All of their body parts sort of, uh. Pop off and start floating away? Like doll parts, suddenly detachable. There is no gore, and looking at the sections where they have been severed reveals an empty, static filled void. Furthermore, while it may be shocking — there is no pain. They retain complete control over their body parts, separated as they may currently be.

They're just, you know, currently Mr. Potato Head-ing it.]

[Akira has a snarky comment prepared about walking into the lair of a serial killer, but like]

[then his arms pop off of his body along with his leg. . . and half a leg. . . and he has. more important things to worry about?? like his head suddenly rolling away from his. . . limbless torso???]

[it's fine one of his arms is already chasing after his head so it doesn't roll too far away]

his left arm grabs his right one before it can float off on its own and starts shaking it. ]

[one of belph's arms is going to try and fetch the rest of his parts, but the other arm's going to try and head over to the silver platter and lift the lid? might as well get this started.]

[ one of phoenix's arms jumps up to his chin to scratch it. ]

I'd appreciate if it anyone could give me a---

[ a beat while he looks at ash. hm. he may actually dies if he makes a a joke. ]

After lifting the lid, Belph will notice there are four masks on the silver platter. He will have to, uh, float his head a little closer to get a proper look at them. But from this distance, the features seem... oddly realistic.]

[he grabs his head with his arm and turns it around to give Ash a concerned look??? his other arm is fetching his legs so]

[someone examine the red seeping from the door]

I would prefer not to be poisoned? But whatever's happened is already kinda done?

[ one of ash's legs kicks the other over and jumps on it and his non-?poisoned arm is dragging the other to grab his torso so i guess ash's head'll just turn to

look at the red seeping stuff? nice. ]

[sure, his head (along with his other pieces) is coming over to take a look at the masks.]

[ phoenix's hand also carries his head over to take a look... this is great, guys ]

[Since they're just looking at it, they will notice the stuff seeping out from under the door looks pretty vicious. Upon checking the masks, Belph will discover four different faces. Two of the masks will be familiar, while the other two he may or may not recognize depending on how much attention he has paid to the Outdoors Theater.

anyway akira is probably still floating around gathering his limbs because al said to skip, so, ash is going to Not Notice the masks for the moment and reluctantly move his head down lower to see if he can smell anything weird about it because fuck knows he's not touching it. ]

[for better or for worse, belph does pay attention to the theatre, so.]

Heads-up—there's creepy masks of people we know here. I'm guessing we gotta hold onto these, or something.

[he'll pass the akechi one over to akira because that's definitely his, while he takes the jae-ha one for himself, seeing as how he's the only non-blues here.]

...... Judging from past experiences, we will probably have to end up wearing them.

[ one arm takes peach's mask.... maybe he will finally know what it's like to be short. ]

[Doing the sniff test on the red, viscous liquid reveals a smell not unlike burnt motor oil. Pleasant!]

[ i have the power now so i guess akira's still catching limbs. also wow that's gross. love that for everyone. ]

Smells burnt as hell. Like motor oil?

[ one of his arms will make its way down to the last mask and... well. he does look surprised when he sees who it is, but doesn't say anything specific. ]

[cool, they all have their masks now.]

... Well, that's not concerning at all.

Hmm... foreshadowing.

Let's pull ourselves together before going any further.

[ which he is working on... ]

[Whatever is happening with the door will patiently wait while they pull themselves together.

While they assemble themselves, they will notice that though their body parts do click back into place (literally), they can easily be removed again. Their flesh is still flesh, but they will notice faint ridges where their bodies came apart. All they will need to do is gently tug.]

[voidbreaker]

[ well. time to drag all his limbs back to his torso and wriggle them into place. is his arm still stinging?

once everything's where it should be, he holds up the brilith mask and peers through it without putting it directly on his face just yet. ]

So... we put these on and then what? It eats our faces off?

[yay, having all his body parts back together again...

he sighs.]

Only one way to find out.

[gently, he puts the mask on.]

It's been transformation, in my experience.

[ but uh yeah phoenix takes longer to potato head himself together but also waits to see what happens with belph..... he immediately becomes a shipping mess. ]

[Ash's arm still stings! Alas. With the lights on, he will notice something red beading up where he was pricked.

Anyway...

Belph puts on the mask












and nothing happens!

[ hm. don't like that. when he looks closer at it, is it le blood?

anyway, when belph's face doesn't explode, ash just puts the mask straight on. the sooner he's out of here the sooner he can maybe stop his arm being all sting. ]
