On Monday afternoon, regardless of where Chuuya is, he will soon find the small purple lionhead bunny at his feet, circling around him before zooming its way back to the directors' office. It will continue hounding Chuuya until he follows, leading him into the door marked 3C 💜. As Chuuya enters, he'll get the urge that he should check his travel guide and upon opening it he will find new rules updated for his eyes and his eyes alone. Rules for a Career Counselor 1.) Every Monday, the Career Counselor will choose one camper for review. They will be able to see whom they have spoken to, if they have visited somewhere unique to camp, and if they are a part of the camp staff. 2.) The Career Counselor will also be able to send one anonymous message to one camper per week. This person may not be the same as their other pick, and should a note not be sent that week, the opportunity will be lost. After reviewing the rules, Chuuya will look up to see Purple Heart seated at their desk. Were they always there? Once Chuuya has finished, they will extend their hand and gesture for him to take a seat. "Welcome, Counselor. Shall we begin?"

You're right. So...narrow it down for me. Who're you thinking might be good to check?

It was mostly looked over at the end there, but someone said Tonbokiri's foot matched a mark on Zenitsu. And I know Zenitsu has a hard time talking to people, so I doubt he sees many people in private. So checking Tonbokiri might be a good idea. He's also the most likely suspect, since I don't think anyone else matched the footprint.

On the other hand, with Minako, two of my friends are potential suspects. Flayn, and Lili. Both of their feet were the right size for the footprints there. And with Lili, I could see how 'two' would be relevant, since her boyfriend could have helped her. And honestly, missing the mark on one of those two would be better, since I think they would be honest and not ask too many questions if I asked them follow-up stuff about whatever I find about them.

Ah, so you were paying attention. [he seems pleased, but otherwise there are no tells.] ...trust your instincts on this one. Use what you know, see how you can move forward, and think about other outlets you can use if you can only check on person.

She talks too much. [now isn't the time to be catty, junpei.] Then go back to square one. What next?

Assuming those are all in the order that she talked to those people...She said she had curfew with her boyfriend, Ash, and Zenitsu. So everything on there was after those three. She's smart, so she probably would have talked to Tonbokiri and Magnus because of the trial. So it's probably safe to say that she didn't kill on Thursday night.

[He can assume why she went to talk to Purple Heart though. Them toebeans.]

And there's not really any pattern to who she talked to a lot, besides talking to Magnus twice. Which is probably because of him killing Sanji.

If nothing else, I know she's on my team at least. And I think I can finagle talking to her about who she talked to after the trial without revealing why I'm asking.

...minor correction. Everything on that list was from the whole week, so you have to kind of figure out when she might've spoken to people. [leave his toebeans alone!!!!]

Magnus being on there is a mistype, each name should only be on there once regardless of how often she spoke to a person. So likely, you can assume she spoke to Ookurikara more than once, but she may have only spoken to Magnus once. [also I meant to erase the second one so my b.] Also you don't have proof he killed Sanji, right?

If that's how you want to spend your time, then...I can't stop you.

Still, the only one of the four victims on there is Zenitsu, and he was supposed to be staying with her at curfew. So if nothing else, she's probably not one of the killers from last week.

And Taako said Magnus did it in self-defense, and the tiger was afraid of him. I don't really believe it was in self-defense, but he definitely did it.

Listen, it wasn't easy on me back then and it's definitely not easy on me now. [he doesn't like it either???]

But okay. You have a theory to follow. That's a good start. If you were to talk to Magnus, how do you think you'd approach it?

Well I was already going to talk to him this upcoming week, since he said he'd help me figure out who put these injuries on me. So that'll at least open up the conversation.

From there...I think I'll do what you said before, and listen to what he's not saying.

Smart idea. If anything, at least it'll be enlightening and answer some questions you have to start following other trails. [a pause.]

What're you going to do about the letter? It's anonymous, and I'd be writing it so they can't trace it back to you. But it's optional.

Well my first thought was to pick someone random and send them 'you're next', but that's a little too mean, yeah?

[He wouldn't actually do that, promise.]

But no, after I talk to Lili and Magnus, I'm gonna sum up what I can and send it to Akira.

You do have a bit of time. [tomorrow morning, really.] But I trust you to work fast so that's good enough for me. Try to keep it concise, too.

Dazai did come to me to ask about the claims that you're my favorite.

Oh my god, he did?

[This is hilarious.]

What did you tell him?

That you weren't entirely wrong and that he should indulge your ego every now and then. Give you some credit. [the look on his face says he thinks this is funny as hell, so sorry about him.] He doesn't need to know that I have an actual favorite but for the sake of convenience? It worked out.

I only even said it because you gave me permission to 'be myself' in the first week here. Obviously I'm your favorite if you would let me loose on camp like that.

[He's smirking as he says that. The way Junpei says 'actual favorite' tells Chuuya that he's probably not the favorite, but that's okay. It's more of an excuse to misbehave anyway.]

[he rolls his eyes but also, like, can't really disagree too much.]

Fair enough. [...] The older version of you and I were friends at the end of everything, I think. And you and I are friends now, so...[still some form of a favorite, at least.]

"Favorite outside of whoever you're dating", or something like that, right?

[He. Has a guess. About why Junpei doesn't want his identity revealed. Even if he doesn't know who it is, he can guess.]

If I told my boyfriend that I picked a 15 year old over him he'd probably either die laughing or bitch about it. But glad we can agree on that.
