[after feeding the purple bunny, it zips off past the receptionist desk and out the door, bounding its way across the grounds. hikage will have to be quick to keep up, but the bun seems to be leading him straight to the camp store. the door swings open for the bunny and as hikage enters, he'll find purple heart seated behind the check-out counter. they bend down to scoop up the bunny as it approaches, depositing it on their desk before turning to wave a hand toward hikage. it doesn't last long though, seeing how they then prop their head up with their hand.]
Hikage. How may I help you today?
i'm sorry hikage is gonna keeping being a lil bitch
What do you mean how does it work? Like how to use it? Sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't. The important thing is the intent behind it. [in other words, hit your toplevel for power use if you want to try it and it's all rng baby.]
Anyway if none of you actually hurt each other it's a moot point. That's really all we're asking.
Given the way some of you love to talk in circles it's best to clarify. [but they nod.] Just wearing it and having the intention in mind is enough. Wearing it also helps ward off any ill-willed residuals that may have slipped through the cracks. It's actually rather beneficial for you.
That's correct. Because of what's happened with the portal, we really wanted to take precautions to ensure you wouldn't incur massive damage by being interrupted on your way home. We don't know what may have still been lingering...after all, this sticky situation seems to have made its way here without our prior knowledge.
I don't know all of you as well as you may know one another, and I can admit that. Do you suppose it's possible that someone brought ill will with them as they were preparing to return home?
Don't give me attitude. You don't have the right to be annoyed with me right now.
[ bristling. ]
You're saying that we came here because of an accident with portals. You gave us these stupid hair ties to ward off magic and ill intent that might have followed us from our last prison into this one. Is that correct?
Ah? [hikage gets a brief pause.] I think you may be projecting there a bit, that was kind of a genuine question. [some people are bad with theoreticals just like people are bad at sarcasm or reading a room.]
Yes. That's correct. But there's a difference between something accidentally coming through and someone who may have purposefully done so.
[ well, considering that he's here now and already decided that Tiger and Dragon betrayed him due to that, this information isn't surprising. He grunts, dismissive. ]
We're sort of an in-between. This is our camp, and you're here while we work to separate you from whatever may have followed and set the portals right to get you home. Mostly the latter.
WEEK ZERO, THURSDAY
Hikage. How may I help you today?
i'm sorry hikage is gonna keeping being a lil bitch
Hikage doesn't look like he's in any better spirits than he was when he first chewed out Purple; he looks annoyed to be here at all, but resigned. ]
Someone told me I should talk to you about this. [ he holds up the purple scrunchie that's around his wrist. ]

And I see you followed their advice. What is it you wish to know?

[ a flat look. he knew this wasn't going to be anything other than more murder!! ]
Whatever. How does that ability work?
