WEEK ZERO, THURSDAY

[after feeding the purple bunny, it zips off past the receptionist desk and out the door, bounding its way across the grounds. hikage will have to be quick to keep up, but the bun seems to be leading him straight to the camp store. the door swings open for the bunny and as hikage enters, he'll find purple heart seated behind the check-out counter. they bend down to scoop up the bunny as it approaches, depositing it on their desk before turning to wave a hand toward hikage. it doesn't last long though, seeing how they then prop their head up with their hand.]

Hikage. How may I help you today?

[ following a rabbit... the irony isn't lost on him, even though he doubts it was the intention of these people.

Hikage doesn't look like he's in any better spirits than he was when he first chewed out Purple; he looks annoyed to be here at all, but resigned. ]

Someone told me I should talk to you about this. [ he holds up the purple scrunchie that's around his wrist. ]

[gatonina]

[it's fine, purple doesn't seem to be bothered by hikage's demeanor and instead tilts their head.]

And I see you followed their advice. What is it you wish to know?

You gave me the ability to stay awake on Thursday night. In other words, you expect that something's going to happen then.

[ a flat look. he knew this wasn't going to be anything other than more murder!! ]

Whatever. How does that ability work?

[gatonina]

[...they shrug.]

What do you mean how does it work? Like how to use it? Sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't. The important thing is the intent behind it. [in other words, hit your toplevel for power use if you want to try it and it's all rng baby.]

Anyway if none of you actually hurt each other it's a moot point. That's really all we're asking.

Yes, I mean how to use it. What else would I mean? [ UGH ] Just wearing it is enough, then?

Given the way some of you love to talk in circles it's best to clarify. [but they nod.] Just wearing it and having the intention in mind is enough. Wearing it also helps ward off any ill-willed residuals that may have slipped through the cracks. It's actually rather beneficial for you.

WEEK ONE, WEDNESDAY

[after feeding the blue bunny, it zips off past hikage and out the door, bounding its way across the grounds. hikage will have to be quick to keep up, but the bunny will lead him to the camp store. there, he will find winter rearranging items on the shelves. they crouch down to scoop the bunny up once they notice it, and then glance at hikage.]

Uh, it's almost closing time. [let's be real, ikea furniture takes a while.] But what's up?

[psychedelica]

You're still here, so it doesn't matter.

[ he picked this one because they seem the least irritating so far - plus, they've got blood on their hands. Maybe they feel guilty now that they've been involved. It's a potential vulnerability, provided the directors aren't lying bold-faced at all hours. ]

Is what that girl said about "team victories" the truth? [ a beat. ] Whether or not I believe you is another question. I'm just here to listen to whatever your reply is.

[gatonina]

Well, aren't you a charmer?

[dryly. they turn back to the shelves, reaching over to fix something that's currently crooked.]

Mmm... I wasn't peeping in on your meeting. If it's what I think it is, though, yes. But if you're not going to believe us, why bother with the interrogation? Seems like a major waste of time.

I'm choosing what to believe. As far as I'm concerned, the only trustworthy ones here are Belph and Steph. But I need information.

[ anyway. ]

How does that work...? That purple guy hasn't given me any reason to fight for him.

[...they snort, softly.]

[ this one seems less annoying. or maybe it's because he didn't come see WW first with metaphorical guns blazing. maybe!! ]

W2, MONDAY

[the gray rabbit will lead hikage onward to the camp store! black shadows is manning the counter today, but it seems they have some privacy for now. their rabbit finds a spot to flop on the floor comfortably, and black shadows gives hikage a polite nod.]

Hello. Believe we have not spoken. Assistance needed?

[psychedelica]

[ ok. he's going to try and be diplomatic this time... he takes a deep breath, running a hand through his hair. ]

... I just want some answers. I'm not getting anywhere. [ a beat. ] Maybe you can help me more than the other two.

[gatonina]

...may not be able to answer questions other two could not. But will try.

[they nod, waiting patiently for him to ask.]

[ he tucks his hands into his pockets. ]

...understand others have not liked answer, but-- easiest one to give. No other word for what we are, or I would give that instead.

Spirits? Gods? Demons? One of those things has to fit you. You clearly have a soul and some type of form.

W5, MONDAY

[well, he does have to go find hikage so he eventually ventures off down the aisles, looking for him with a container in his hands. upon spotting him, he waves said-container gently in front of him.]

Hey. Special delivery from the other side.

[psychedelica]

... Huh?

[ gross, it's junpei. Somewhat warily, he reaches out to accept the box. ]

What is this?

[gatonina]

Cookies from a friend on the other side. Don't worry, I didn't do anything to them.

[psychedelica]

... Is that something I should be worried about?

[ he's peering inside to double check. they sure look like cookies... ]

Who sent these?

[gatonina]

No, but considering how much you like us I figured I should preemptively say so. [but there's a shrug.] Two guesses, man. Who do you think?

Belph and Stephanie don't cook.
