[ Their joined efforts seem to dislodge him from his thoughts, as though the smoke doesn't do enough already. He blinks at Giyuu when he feels all three of them get tugged along at the entrance and—
It's not a sharp shock of lucidity, but he can't die here. (He shouldn't let any of them die here.) So he shakes himself free, only so he can step back, fire licking around his boots as he charges the door again.
It just opened with a kick last time, but whatever. ]
[ what if my goal is for shinobu to die of smoke inhalation and burns
Shinobu doesn't need to be dragged to leave. She just wants to make sure everyone is going to first! People have the right to make a choice first (before it's vetoed).
If Dimitri wants to charge the way out, that's fine(?). She looks at his back with a furrowed brow even as she runs after him, trying not to cough and breathe more smoke in as she goes.
[Charging at the door does the trick! How lucky. The door is ripped out of its hinges, and Dimitri goes rolling across the grass, coming to a stop when he hits a tree a few yards away. The fire is nearly at the front door by this point, so it's excellent timing.
But now that the cabin is wide open, the fire grows and grows and grows — until the cabin more or less explodes. Giyuu and Shinobu will successfully exit the building, but since they stuck inside long enough for the fire to nearly consume the cabin entirely, they will be sent flying once the structure bursts at the seams. Dimitri will be bruised from rolling across the ground, hitting the tree, and throttling two doors in a row. Meanwhile, Shinobu and Giyuu's clothing will catch fire at the hems. The flames will be quelled easily enough if they think to roll around, and they will escape with very minor burns. Dealer's choice on where, exactly, these burns will be located.
Smoke steadily rises from the inferno that once used to be a cabin. Goodbye, mysterious cabin in the woods.]
