On Monday afternoon, regardless of where Taako and Tonbokiri are, they will each soon find the purple lionhead bunny at their feet, circling around them before zooming its way back to the directors' office. It will continue hounding each of them until they follow, leading them into the door marked 3C 💜. As they each enter, they'll get the urge to check their travel guide, and upon opening it they will find new rules updated for their eyes and their eyes alone. Rules for Thieves 1.) Every Monday, the Thieves will meet with their team leader in order to receive their assignment. The details of this assignment will rotate each week, and will ultimately be for the benefit of the camp. All choices made must be unanimous. 2.) On certain weeks, however, the team leader may task the Thieves with eliminating one person from the competition in addition to their normally assigned task. 3.) While assignments require that both Thieves collaborate, that is not necessarily the case when eliminating a camper. While both must come to an agreement on who to eliminate, it is not necessary that both become involved in the act itself. It is up to the Thieves' discretion to decide if they will act as accomplices to each other, or only send one of their own to carry out the task. After reviewing the rules, whichever of them arrives first will see Purple Heart seated at their desk. Were they there a moment ago...? Regardless, they will extend a hand to gesture to the seats before them. "Hello, Thieves. Shall we get to work?"

[unlike previous times they've spoken, when purple heart greets the pair they sound a bit more subdued as they prop their head up with their hand and pet their bunny's ears with the other, bandaged one. To their left is a dart board and on the desk is one, single dart.]

While I do have an assignment for you this week, I suppose we can take a bit of time to answer some questions I'm sure you have. After that, we can discuss a friendly game of darts to make a choice for this week for yourselves, to help, or to hinder.

...I wouldn't have asked you to do this if there wasn't a reason for it. But things are kind of dire right now, especially now that the competition's in full swing.

I picked you myself. I'm sorry. But there are reasons that I can divulge later. And I told you. Things are just beamed into my head at times.

[He . . . sounds mad, but it's not really directed at Purple Heart. Sort of. Collapsing in on himself for a second, to process, hands pressed over his eyes and giving a short. Uh. Scream of frustration. This is fine? Then he sits up and looks much more normal.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that we died?

Sort of. I picked you partially for that reason because I thought you'd be most likely to play for the win. You haven't even heard the endgame conditions yet.

I suppose you aren't wrong. Between all of us, we certainly have the most to lose. [ sorry escha??? but also, tonbo would have rather it be them than her anyways ]

Well then, what do you ask of us?

You're playing for your ending, essentially. Think of it like a rewrite of time. For those who win, they will get to keep their happily ever after and go back to their perfect little lives where everything is completely fine and everyone was saved.

[...] But if we win, of course...it's a chance to fix everything. That island wouldn't exist. The demons would lose control. You could choose the people you want to save and all return back home without worry and that portion of the multiverse would be closed off to all of your worlds forever.

For now? You aren't being asked to kill anyone at the moment but instead...I have something that may either help you, affect others, or be a detriment. Unfortunately it's all a chance.

That implies we won't be able to save everyone though, right?

. . . And what happens if we lose? We just go back to the way things were?

If you lose, you save absolutely no one, including the people who left. It isn't just about the island, it's about the whole ship.

Up to chance, hm? [ that sure is a tired laugh. here's hoping their luck is better in this place than previously ] Well I can't say we aren't used to such already.
