I've never actually had a pet before? In elementary school we had pet rabbits for our class but they weren't really mine or anything. Kou and Saki are still new to me.

As someone who regularly spent a lot of my time with ancient Japanese swords? The adjustment period isn't too difficult once you know how to talk to them. I don't know how Hikage is, but you could always just tell him it's a mission to learn and see if that helps.

Belph is technically from the future, but his future sucks, so it's still... a lot.

Pretty amazing how we can all be brought together like this though. It's not that unusual where I'm from, but the average person still doesn't usually deal with it.
Apocalyptic kind of sucks, or sucks for him personally? Actually, never mind, it's not that important. [there's a nod though.] I've always thought the same thing. Back home we're still learning how to jump timelines, but the universe-jumping is something I haven't tried yet. I'm gonna have to learn sooner or later but...this is a good start.
The good thing is the results can't be any worse than this, so that's some incentive. Might be worth comparing notes with people who have tried it, too.
