Been keeping my power on the downlow. I figure-- even if I do share the real thing later, most people will believe I can be a bit shady for no reason.

There's nothing against lying about your power. I lied about my role for most of the run on the ship just to get the information I needed from everybody. Figured it's safer that way until you know who you can work with.
