We've lost enough. We may as well hold onto what you've earned on your own.

But...I don't know. I assume that your worlds from the village would be connected since that was part of your happy ending. By winning, you get to keep that ending. So nothing should change about it.

Mm - and I still intend for all of us to win.

[every single ending.]

... but what does that mean for you all? From the boat? Will you be able to see each other, if the village's ending extends to everyone who was here?

I know you do, but...you know it can't just be up to one person. I know you know that.

[but that is a great question.] The village's ending is the village's ending. Our ending is our ending. When we win and get to rewrite our ending, I think it has to be something different. So in theory...we could write it in ourselves.

If that's really how it works, I mean. We don't know for sure what winning looks like for us besides saving the others.

[she nods - it's a team effort, and it's why people have to get over themselves.

but she just hums softly...]

Did you get the impression that you can rewrite your ending? I hope so - I already swore to the others that I'd do everything I can to help you save who you've lost, since you were given a rather horrid hand.

I want to see if I can burn down the town that hurt Natalie, too.

What we were told was that the game was meant for people to keep what they had earned, or to earn a happy ending to begin with. We never got ours, so...that's all I can think that it means. We get the chance to fix what was wrong.

I don't know if other things can be fixed for people with happy endings already, but I wouldn't rule it out just yet either.

All we can do is one step at a time. Right?
