[Well, here they are! He looks... incredibly worried and frantic. He’s using his uno chance at mouthing a word immediately, moving his lips to form the word directors as he gives her a questioning look.]

[coastal]

[SURPRISE.

Lili's going to look a bit startled at that - and then answer.]

Dead, presumably. Everything's a mess. It looks like there was a fight that broke out, a gun was used, there's a tornado and some ice, blood in the snow, and the portal as well as their cabin doors are glowing pink.

No one's on your side? Is everyone there safe?

[He... looks like he needs a second after hearing that first part, but he’s trying to hold it together for long enough to get this across and hear what she has to say.

He shakes his head and then nods. Next, he extends the fingers of one of his hands out away from his palm before lightly hitting first his leg, then his opposite arm with that hand.]

[she's understanding now what everyone said about hating charades. there's a little bit of a concerned look at the way he struggles, and then she squints like trying to understand.]

Leg and... arm? In a literal sense, yes or no? [or a metaphorical one?]

Do we have to hit something? [she opens up her hand the same way that he did?]

[He nods, then shakes his head. He gestures towards himself, then points to his eye before pointing to the same arm and leg he did a moment ago. Then, extending his fingers so his hand is flat again, he makes contact with the same arm and leg - but this time, when his hand touches each limb, he moves it back and forth horizontally several times.]

[coastal]

[oh my god what. she blinks a few times - trying to puzzle it over but while she does, she speaks quickly:]

—and this has nothing to do with the message but you're doing very well and so is Tsurumaru, tell him I'm going to pick him up soon, because he's my stupid crane and always will be.

[BACK TO BUSINESS she tries to repeat his steps, speaking as she does he can correct her.]

Nod or shake your head when I have things correct or wrong.

[pointing at her eye] We have to first find and see - the arm and the leg.

[and then touching the arm and leg - ] Push? Move?

[moving them horizontally - ] Like a - gateway? Doorway? [this doesn't seem like it makes sense.] Or to remove an obstacle?

Or is it like a pendulum?

[He nods and gives a thumbs up!

And then he shakes his head several times until he waves his hands dismissively, shaking his head a final time before trying something different. He holds up one finger, points to himself, and points to his mouth.]

[coastal]

[what!!!!

holds up the one finger:] One?

[points at him:] You? The ghosts or the departed?

[points at the mouth:] Mouth? Speak? Eat?

[selfinserting]

[He closes his eyes and just holds up his arms to form an X for a second.

Then, he moves his arms together and places them against his torso, interlocking and moving them together in a gentle swinging motion back and forth across his chest.]

[i can't believe this is the literal last comment we get and lili is so bad at interpreting charades that she understands nothing]
