tsurumaru just waves at him, at first. he doesn't approach him right away, like he is... waiting for the other sword to make the first move here. but there's still a friendly smile on his face regardless. ]

kara almost doesn't notice at first, but when he does, he stops short and just. stares in shock. ]

Tsuru? [ . . . ] You didn't go to Lili.

[ he's. not angry? just surprised. he'd thought tsuru would choose her first, since... well, since kara is kara, and they weren't exactly on great terms when tsuru died?? ]

although on that note, he also looks surprised at the comment. tsuru shakes his head, and then points at kara and then points at himself rather firmly.

... and then he just. bows. right at the waist. ]

he gestures at kara, and then gives him a questioningly look. ]

I'm fine, if that's what you're asking. Lili said she's planning on letting me use one of the healing items, so the injuries from the execution shouldn't be a problem. You don't have to worry about me - just keep working from that side until we can bring you back.

he then makes another gesture, one that is about lili's height, and then gives him another curious look. ]

but he pauses, like he's trying to. think of what to say. he's done this before so he knows his time is about to run out. but he knows he was able to mouth at least one thing last time, so he mouths the word "rewards" and then makes an X with his hands and points at himself.

there's another few seconds before he walks over to kara to be a little closer. he can't actually touch him, but he'll reach his hand out to him. ]
