[not long after feeding the purple rabbit, it bounds off and seeks out its owner, leading the two of them onward and out toward the gardens. as they approach, they'll find a lavender tiger curled up in one of the gazebos, but he lifts his head as they approach.
A tiger? A low point? C'mon, it could be so much worse. At least as a tiger you can maul anyone who mouths off to you. Plus you have like, the biggest paw pads of any cat.
Taako said something about 'special roles' at the trial. Now, we get that you can't say 'so and so has a special role', but can you at least explain what they're for in this game? Especially since a couple of them are dead now?
Nope. Even if it's speculation, there are answers out there that would lead you to correct conclusions. I would ask what makes you think roles exist, but Taako is. Loud.
Back at the mansion, there was a role that let someone find out if someone was a monster or not. obviously that wouldn't help here, since there's no monsters, but if I had to speculate then I think it would be like that: something specific that helps here, but in ways we might not think of at first.
And there's probably one for each team, meaning there's still one left alive.
And back at the mansion, there was someone who could choose one person to protect each week, though she-- ah. . . had to take their place if she chose correctly.
[HE. MAKES A FACE]
So maybe there's a role like that in play here, too?
It was kinda like our teams here: we couldn't tell EVERYONE, but someone with a role could share it with like one or two people if they were careful. So when they died, the person who knew outed what their role was.
...Akechi was really playing the long con, wasn't he.
You know how things work here, guys. No doxxing. But I'll give you advice I've given others. Don't think so much about what people are saying, but about what they aren't saying. It may help clarify some things.
[rocks with the punch. Chuuya will feel amusement!]
I don't think that's quite it.
I think Heart's saying that maybe those who do have roles can't talk about them, so we need to listen to what they're not saying rather than what they are. Right?
W4, SATURDAY this image is so much.

Hey. Enjoying being a furry?

This is a new low point. I've even amazed myself.

So what's the occasion?

[He's being playful there.]
We actually wanted to ask about something we heard at the trial. We figured you couldn't talk about it in public, but private should be okay.
...oh yeah, and before you start worrying about 'team secrets', Akira and I already know each other's teams. So it's okay.

I'm not surprised, really. But sure. You do know if it's something I can't answer then I really can't answer, right? Just so we're all clear.

[tilting his head, thoughtful]
And Shinobu and Sanji are both-- dead now. You can't confirm the nature of their special privileges even though they're gone?

What's your speculation then?

Interesting line of logic. How did you find those roles back at the mansion?

Our hosts were able to talk about the roles of people who died. And in our sixth week in the mansion, Akechi told me about his.

[He. Has taken that instruction a bit too literally whoops.]

[WAGGLES HIS FINGERS AT HEART AND CHUUYA]

...regardless, it's not entirely that literal. Lies of omission are still considered lies by some people, but they can provide plenty of information.

[Now he's thinking of a few things.]
So we gotta talk around people and trick them into revealing stuff when they think they're not saying anything. I get it now.
[Do you, Chuuya?
Also he's reaching over to punch Akira. Casually.]
