WEEK ZERO, TUESDAY EVENING

[once shinobu feeds the blue bunny, it will zip out of the waiting room and lead her across the camp. she will have to be quick on her feet to keep up. the bunny will take her to area surrounding the bonfire, where she will come across winter wizard making their way up north. they will be stopped by the bunny hopping towards them, and will bend down to scoop it up before turning towards shinobu.]

Hey. What's up?

[wisterin]

[ Shinobu may not be the strongest person in her canon, but she is one of the fastest. ]

Good evening, Wizard-san. Should I call you team leader, too?

[gatonina]

Oh, just Wizard is fine. No need for fancy titles, or anything like that.

[wisterin]

Are you sure that won't be too rude?

[gatonina]

I'm giving you permission! It'd be, like, way worse to ignore that, if you ask me.

[wisterin]

[ She laughs softly. ]

All right. It'll be a little odd, but Wizard, it is. Do you dislike most formalities?

[gatonina]

[they nod.]

Pretty much. As long as nobody acts like an asshole, I don't really care.

[wisterin]

That's easygoing of you. Can I ask, will all the tasks you request of us be in a similar vein as what's found on that board currently?

[gatonina]

As long as no one starts throwing rocks at us for asking for help with our chores, yeah!

[wisterin]

[ She tilts her head to the side. ]

Is that something you expect?

[gatonina]

It's hyperbole! Or, well, I hope it's hyperbole. [a huff of laughter.] You never know. Some people hate cleaning.

[wisterin]

There are some things people hate more than cleaning. It' much nicer to clean than the subject that's been talked to death lately. I think most would agree.

[ cleaning > murder. ]

I've done the tasks already, but can I still do one with you?

[gatonina]

True... The only thing you should be killing right now are tough grease stains.

[at that, they nod.]

Nothing says you can't! I don't have enough time for more than one task, but I'm here for it. As long as it's, um, not the one I came up with.

[wisterin]

Are you not allowed to do the one you came up with?

[ That's a little strange. ]

[gatonina]

No, nothing like that. I just want to be fair to B and P, you know? I'm great at dancing! But, erm, less great at what they came up with.

[wisterin]

[ She nods. ]

That's kind of you to be fair. How about you tell me something about yourself, then?

[gatonina]

Going with the second one, huh? I don't think anything I could tell you would count for what P asked for. You're, like, already in my turf.

[wisterin]

That's fine. What if I simply want to get to know you better? Trust can only come if I get to learn more about you.

[gatonina]

Fair, fair. What would you like to know? We can play 20 Questions.

[wisterin]

Twenty questions?

[ This cultural divide because she's from before Japan got too much western influence. ]

Are there rules?

[ Since they said play. ]

[gatonina]

Yup! We take turns asking questions, until we've asked twenty questions total. Simple, right?

[wisterin]

[ She nods. ]

All right. What's your favorite thing to do?

[gatonina]

[they tilt their head, tapping a finger against their chin thoughtfully.]

Well, I like to read... What about you? Same question.

[wisterin]

I love ghost stories.

[ It's her canon stated interest. It's the best thing. ]

But what I like to do more than that is helping others. Do you have a pet peeve?

[gatonina]

I think we can both agree that helping others is awesome.

[that said...]

It drives me up the wall when someone doesn't flush the toilet after using it. Like, please clean up after yourself. [blease.] What kind of story is your least favorite?
