[there are a few scattered papers with some doodles, there's a book, and there's some rabbit treats for bun but otherwise nothing of interest on the desk. instead, they nod and reach into the desk to pull out a small canister of sugar, a clean coffee mug, and they turn around to grab the pot to pour for him.]
Help yourself. [and while chuuya does that, they take another sip and think this over.] So tell me more about this hit.
[it's fine chuu so do they. ] Ah. Well. I knew I was losing in the polls recently but this is a bit different. Any guesses as to where it came from, or why?
I'll have more than a friendly conversation with them myself, actually. But I'm sure plenty of people are looking for them. Not even for my sake but...Evan and Tsurumaru had people who cared about them.
[He didn't know Tsurumaru, but he had spoken to Evan a couple times, and he didn't seem like a bad person. Why anyone would be so rude to is something he can't quite understand.]
I know. It's...hard, really, to think about them knowing they were both technically victims of circumstance. It's what we wanted to avoid and couldn't in the end, so to have someone almost make a mockery of their deaths is...pretty shitty, mostly.
[Chuuya has a lot of thoughts, but he knows Purple can't really do anything about most of them, so he'll keep them to himself. Instead, he goes with another thought.]
Look, I know you guys are limited in what you can do here, but is there anything we can do to root out who's being a prick here? Like, set up a camera to see who's leaving those rocks everywhere or something?
Cameras, no, but technically nothing is stopping you guys from setting up traps and stuff. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do as we aren't allowed to interfere.
But the one thing I can advise you on is talking to others. Never underestimate the power of communication, Chuuya. You'd be amazed what sort of information falls into your lap.
You can talk to people without liking them. You'd be surprised what people are willing to do in life or death situations. Besides, don't you have people like Akira to vouch for you?
Even if someone's better at it...it shouldn't stop you from making an attempt. There may even be some people that find Akira obnoxious and would prefer a more brash approach. Strong leaders always need people to be strong supporters, and that includes taking the lead when needed.

[they don't seem...too concerned right now? hm.]

I guess, sure. Got sugar for it?
[He is a sweets hound.
Also he's going to peek over, is there anything on Purple's desk besides bunny and coffee?]

Someone painted a purple heart onto a rock and drew a line through it.
...I know that sounds dumb, hearing it now, but I'm pretty sure it was a threat.

Someone also left bloody rocks by the memorials to the dead, so I'm guessing they're trying to send a message.

[If it's not then he'll clean it when he goes there later.]
I figured warning the living first was a good idea.

They didn't do anything to deserve this either.

[Chuuya it's like one person who doesn't like you, stop taking it personally.]

...it might be better for Akira to lead that communication anyway. He's better at it.
[Getting knifed by people he trusted and who had called him 'leader' definitely made him doubt if he was a good leader.]

[He doesn't sound convinced, but.]
We'll see what happens this week, then I'll decide.
