You're not indestructible here, Chuuya, and neither are we. [this is said almost tiredly though they do appreciate the gesture.] ...I think we're a little stronger than you think we are. I simply wish to protect all of you more than myself. Why's that so bad?
It's not bad. But you know, people kinda suck. They talk big about 'working together' and 'saving everyone', but it's all talk to make themselves look like good, moral people. The moment the chips are down suddenly they find it a lot easier to justify letting some people die if it means they get to live.
You're at the most risk because everyone knows what team you're on. And it doesn't matter how strong or weak you are, anyone can win if they have the element of surprise. I just don't want you to get backstabbed because you thought you could trust everyone here.
Of course people suck, but that's why trusting people is perhaps the hardest thing imaginable. There are some that will talk a big game, of course, but...there are others willing to help, I think. And fortunately I have been gifted with an ability to be able to tell well enough.

[Chuuya still doesn't trust many people, and his teammates are only really getting a courtesy "we're on the same side so I at least trust you not to backstab me in that regard" trust. But he does feel kind of bad for the three team leaders, since it sounds like they were doing just fine here before everyone showed up and brought weird things here.]
I can't promise I'll be a good little angel, but I'll try to cooperate. And I'm not gonna harm anyone on my team either.
That's pretty much all I can ask from you anyway. An attempt at cooperation and just being yourself. No offense, but it's hard to imagine you being a perfect angel in the first place. [this is a compliment though if the tone says anything.]
...betrayal is something I want to avoid. So I'm doing what I can to ensure no one can blindside us.
