So it seems. She's young, it's probably how she can cope right now. I can't fault her for that. I just wish she...all of them, really, would listen a little better when I try to explain it's not just about finding the guilty each week. It's about understanding the larger picture.

Seems like we're all pretty short-sighted in that regard.... and people don't really listen when we try to tell them otherwise. "Guilty"... "innocent".... those terms can't apply in a place like this.
They can't. Not when it's something that just has to happen because if it's just people trying to make sure we all don't fucking die, is that really something they could be considered "guilty" for? The deck was stacked against us from the beginning, that's why I've been trying to say to look at the whole picture and not each case week by week.
