...just that they're closer than you think. You could see them, I suppose, but...I mean I don't entirely recommend it. Just know that they're safe.

How about the dead?

They're...not quite where you'd expect them to be. Not in the same place as the sleeping either.

Is reaching them while alive possible? And... I'm guessing a lot of torment would await anyone who tries?

In theory, yes. You would have to ask one of the others though, I suppose.

Directors, of course.

Do you each have a duty like that...?

In theory we all have our own specialties, yes.

What would you say your specialties are? Generally speaking.

Well...I know everything. About you, about your friends, about your games and about your lives. I have infinite knowledge of all of the participants.

Is that exclusive to you? I got the feeling it was kind of an all director deal.

All of us know a general sense, but...I know much more, I guess? Think of it like having a cliffnotes version of events versus a dedicated encyclopedia entry.

Huh. Investigative type, are we?

I suppose you could say that. Some of it's by choice, some of it's not.

[slobjection]

These kinds of setups do bring out the investigators in us.... whether we like it or not.

[gatonina]

And some of us are better at it than others. But I think we're all still learning along the way.

Think that's such a bad thing?

In this context, yes. [ murder!! ] Otherwise... no.
