Well...the other two would lose, but the leader of the winning team would be allowed to pick three participants from any game they choose to save, just like their team members.

How long did it take you to decide to target your hosts?

It wasn't a decision we made ourselves. It was a necessity.

They became vulnerable around the sixth or seventh week, I think. [ it's all a blur, it's hard to remember exactly when they became players instead of hosts. ] By the last week, they were targeted by the corruption, so they couldn't be left alive.

Unfortunate. [they asked but they already knew this and maybe it was just to see how kara felt about it.]

If people were going to target us, I think they would have by now. And if they try...we'll take care of it then.

You make it sound like you can't be killed. [ he raises an eyebrow. ] Either way, I have no intention of painting targets on your backs, no matter how annoying you are. I'm not that stupid. Besides, not going after you yet doesn't mean anything when there are easier targets here.

What would you do, if someone did? Kill them?

Everyone can be killed one way or another, Ookurikara. [but that's all they say about that.] If you're worried about the easier targets, find a way to protect them by your own means.

I don't know. I'd rather not consider it until I have to.

You all know my abilities aren't made for that. And if I can't fight the curfew, then I'm as helpless to do anything as the rest.

You and me both. We can't do anything at curfew either, we just have to sit and watch it happen. But there may be a loophole you guys can discover on your own.

[...but they sigh.] I know. Usually I'm a planner, but lately I've had to figure out how to capitalize on the great art of improvisation. Nothing's going according to plan anyway, but...should've expected that, too.

Just try to find something better than your last backup plan.

It's maybe possible. But we can't guarantee anything, so try to focus on doing things without special items.

No, there isn't another way to resist curfew. I just said we can't guarantee anything. Though I suppose we can guarantee that it happens if you choose to kill that night or you're unfortunately chosen.
