[after feeding the purple bunny, it zips off past the receptionist desk and down to the door marked as 3C 💜, granting asch access to the hallway temporarily. the door swings open for the bunny and as asch approaches he'll find a quaint office inside and purple heart seated on the desk. as the bunny jumps into their hands while they bend down, they use a gloved hand to gesture to the chairs before him.]

Welcome. Won't you have a seat?

[getdrekt]

[He scowls at the seat, but after a moment, does take it.]

So. You have a prison cabin.

[gatonina]

We do. [and?] Solely for the sake of putting unruly campers in time out should they become disruptive and uncooperative. Why?

[getdrekt]

Hah. Civilian recreational facilities with jail-like detention facilities. Is that standard, for your world?

And what do you deep as disruptive or uncooperative?

[gatonina]

Yeah, other places have done it. It isn't uncommon to have time-out areas. For example, if you threw a ball at someone's head repeatedly, we'd probably place you there for a while until you calmed down.

You're prepping for murder.

If you're not, why not just give us run of the camp? Why not make it a paradise, and let us choose our clothes, our weapons, our vices?

[gatonina]

What do you actually need weapons for if we're not asking you to murder? Every weapon that's been brought here was something you obtained originally. And furthermore, nothing is stopping you from exploring the camp.

If you're just here to make stupid accusations, get on with it. I'll wait.

[getdrekt]

[he crosses his arms]

...do I look like a weather forecaster? I don't know how to make the fog disappear. Fog just happens.

So you have no control over this world beyond the materialization of objects.

No one? Do you have people above you that control your weather? Is that a thing that happens where you're from?

What have you been doing here, now, until we arrived?

Uh. Living? Before you arrived we didn't have to worry about interdimensional mishaps.

[getdrekt]

...Living your lives endlessly in a camp built for around forty people?

Why not go elsewhere? Or is this the only place in your entire world?

[gatonina]

We haven't had a need to go anywhere else. It just never came up.

[getdrekt]

And? What did you do in the meantime? Your "living"?

[gatonina]

Are you asking if we had another job before you all arrived? [they seem amused.]

[getdrekt]

I'm asking what you did until now!

[he punctuates his sentence with a fist on the desk, because buddy, give him a straight answer!!!]

Does it really matter that much?

[getdrekt]

You've a world full of more than forty stranded people who have just endured a fight for their lives, and you're asking me if excluding information matters or not?

Why not just dispel the mystery? Be clear with everyone? No one would worry if they knew who you are, or what your story is!

[gatonina]

Do you go around telling everyone your story just because they demand it of you? We have told you everything that's important to know. You were unfortunately interrupted by a portal mishap on your way home, we brought you here to ensure you weren't lost between threads in the multiverse, your scrunchies are to keep you safe from anything that may be lingering on you, and we do not want you to kill anyone. What else could you possibly need to know right now? Our intentions are completely clear.

And? If the scrunchies don't work?

What's your plan then?

The plan is don't murder each other. How hard of a plan is that to follow? So long as everyone follows that, we can work on the rest.
