[Akira says with. a straight face. BUT THAT SAID, HE IS NOW. . . hobbling after the other three because Ash is coming too. did Ash say goodbye to robo-Bril??? WHO KNOWS]
[Ash totally said goodbye to robo-Brilith. Bet he cried a little, too.
Anyway, the gang will step through the door and leave the... baby shower? Baby welcome? Congrats daddy?? The... party... behind. There is a brief moment in which they lose consciousness — but once they reawaken, they will find themselves on the floor of a completely foreign room. They are still gross and covered in motor oil, confetti and sparkles (+ frosting, in Akira's case), and they still have their party hats and cake slices with them. But whatever was taken from them has now returned, body parts and aspects of their personality alike.
But that's not all.
As they regain their bearings, they will find themselves in a technophile heaven. Guides for different projects can be found on a shelf by the door. A workbench is pushed up against the leftmost wall, illuminated by several lamps, and equipped with a magnifying glass, clamps, and soldering tools. Shelves line the room with a mix of tools and components. While there's nothing extremely advanced in this room, they can still find materials dating to around the late 2000s. Nice. Welcome to the Tech Lab.
By the exit, they will find eight items of interest. Four of these are electronic babies... that uncomfortably resemble the androids they just finished dealing with. One that resembles Jae-ha, one that resembles Peach, one that resembles Brilith, and one that resembles Akechi. The babies cannot be disposed of, and they are bonded to whoever originally held the mask they resemble. Even worse, these babies cannot be disposed of. They will suddenly reappear shrieking at max volume should they even dare to try. They will also have the same temperament of the babies they just put to sleep... so, uh. Enjoy fatherhood, boys!
That aside, there are four more items set out for them. The members of this group will instinctively know what they do. These items include:
1. A pen that can write a single note; the ink is special in that the author can choose up to three people to see the contents of the note. Everyone else will see a blank piece of paper.
2. A pacifier that can heal the first person who, uh, shoves it in their mouth. It will instantly close an injury, but will leave behind a noticeable scar.
3. A magnet that can be used on the squishables. It will copy one of the powers held by someone else's squishable, and they can then transfer that power onto their own squishable pressing the magnet against it.
4. Finally, a toy wand that can alter their appearance for 15 minutes. Whatever shape they take must still be humanoid, and they cannot transform into animals.
